Hannane Ferdjani
Founder & Chief Editorial Officer
Hannane Ferdjani founded Beyond the Noise Africa out of a conviction that Africa needs truly independent spaces for dialogue and storytelling in a world where corporate interests increasingly dominate media. For her, independence is not a luxury — it’s the only way to ensure Africa’s realities are told with honesty, nuance, and depth. Before launching Beyond the Noise Africa, Hannane was an anchor and producer at Africanews, a reporter and correspondent for France 24, and now contributes as a writer for Al Jazeera. Across these roles, she has covered the continent’s biggest political, economic, and cultural shifts, always with a commitment to centering African perspectives.
